MPMC 2nd Annual 5 Miler

Picture
On June 16th, 47 participants enjoyed a beautiful day and fantastic views as they ran or walked over scenic country roads.
The 5 mile run/walk left from the Lions Club park in Mercersburg, PA and was followed by an exciting health and fitness expo.  Everyone felt the post-workout buzz and enjoyed laughing and making new friends as well as sharing healthy habits at the health expo!

36 participants set off on Karper Road near Lions Park on a hilly, a scenic 5-mile run/walk for a cause: their own fun and fitness and to raise awareness of the MPMC and the Feasibility Study.  Danielle Fox developed and coordinated the well-run event including an official timer, and was aided by many enthusiastic volunteers.
